You can only know all of this by talking to customers through a market research survey.  Specifiers are important decision makers who neither actually buy or use your products – Architects, Consulting Engineers, Doctors etc – are all specifiers who decide and suggest what your customers should buy.  Their opinions are crucial to your products.  This is why they must be included in all market research surveys where specifiers play a part.
